Mr L’s Soup

That’s the best name I can come up with for it. Here’s how I rock it:

Ingredients
Cooked Chicken
Water – a bit, I don’t know
Chicken Stock – 500mL
Sweet Potato – half
Carrot
Capsicum – I went for red, green and yellow (the store didn’t have orange)
Mushrooms – I scored three monstrous ones
Zucchini
Garlic Powder
Thyme
Persian seasoning – Masterfoods
Salt
Pepper
Tabasco sauce
Butter
Honey
Creamed Corn – one can
Thin Egg Style noodles – like you put in a stir fry

Directions
1. Warm up your water and chicken stock.
2. Tear the chicken apart into little pieces, leave some skin on, but mostly just scoff it down. Put the chicken in the warm broth. Stir it around, as you will do after adding all new ingredients.
3. Cut the sweet potato into a mixture of small blocks and small slivers. Place them in the broth.
4. Liberally add in garlic powder and thyme to taste.
5. Cut up the carrots into thin slices. Place them in the broth.
6. Cut the three coloured capsicums into small pieces, I like them really small. Place them in the broth.
7. Cut the mushrooms into slices, then cut the clices in half. Place them in the broth.
8. Cut the zucchini into small slices, and then cut in half. Place them in the broth.
9. Liberally add the Persian seasoning, salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce to taste.
10. Allow all ingredients to come to the boil for a while. I believe this is where everything gets cooked.
11. Lower then heat and let the broth simmer down. I went and mowed the lawn, seemed like a good amount of time.
12. Stir in a spoon’s worth of butter, I did it on the end of a knife.
13. Stir in two spoon’s worth of honey, I again used the same knife.
14. Come back after a shower and add a can of creamed corn and then the thin egg style noodles.
15. Allow to sit in the fridge over night.
16. Eat with some fresh, buttery bread and the Ultimate Avengers cartoon movie.

This soup is good for a cold, and for the inner comic nerd within us all. It is thick and should come with a tangy aftertaste on the back of the tongue, that’s the Tabasco subtly rocking your world.

I found this helped me get a few more Space! pages done. Not bad at all.

Thank me later with gifts of your own special recipes.
