Ed Norton - WonderNerd
I was just listening to some old Ed Norton interviews about the Hulk and I was amazed at how he talks about it all. I knew that he had written the screenplay to the latest movie, in which he stars, even if he didn’t end up getting the WGA credit for it. So I knew he had a vested interest in the property to some degree. But…
Then I found out he was a huge Marvel kid. He had subscriptions to titles, and he got them in the mail. He’s a full on nerd, and that’s awesome. I love Ed Norton at the best of times because he’s just an average guy. Yeah, chicks go crazy for him, but when you look at him he is just an average guy in so many ways. He can bulk up, he is crazily buff in American History X, but usualy he is just a normal sized bloke. I think that’s awesome, especially that he can look like that and still get Salma Hayek. It’s a real Hollywood story, that one.
To know that Ed Norton was once a nerd, even if he doesn’t get comics now, makes me feel all the better. Also makes me respect him a hell of a lot.

I was just kicking in some pages for the purloined idea, and a new scene came out to me. It’s nothing to revamp the whole comic, but it was a nice two pages that flowed easily, and I think will add a dimension to the last issue that is possibly needed. I love when stuff like that happens.

Wrote another chapter for Bobsy McMilko, this one was a flashback. I love that this story just keeps gaining scope and depth. Each time I write there is so much to add to the entire mythos of it all. It is fun, which writing always should be, and usually is for me!
