All In The Family
I guess it’s going around. Everyone is trying to be a writer, at least everyone with the surname Lindsay and a pair between the legs.
My brother, the esteemed James Lindsay esq., has written a short film script. In fact, he wrote it quite some time ago. I can remember reading it and laughing my ass off, in a very good way, one scene in particular always tickled me pink. It was just a great little idea, but neither of us are filmmakers so it always just sat on our hard drives.
I guess my brother has a bit more nous than I, and he was able to track down an Australian short film maker. James sent him the script and the guy liked it. The guy has now agreed to make it as his next production.
The guy’s name is Lav Bodnaruk. Check his site, you’ll see he’s made quite a few short films, and he seems to be pretty bloody good at it to. This link, to projects, will show you what he has made, and what he is planning on making next.

is next on the chopping block. How fucking cool is that? It’s casting already and set to film very soon.
The question I’ve gotten is: Am I jealous? The answer: Fuck no! I am so proud of my older bro. I’ve always known he had the writing chops, and now I guess a lot more people will as well. I really want this little flick to do well.
I had the discussion with him; the realism of doing a venture like this. It’s not for the money, it sure as hell ain’t for the chicks, and it probably won’t be for the fame and convertibles. He’s selling the script for a song, but that’s not the point. The point is that he’s putting his ass out there. He’s letting other people see his chops and get the chance to judge them. He’s becoming a player in the game and not just a spectator. I could not be happier for the good looking bastard, I guess now he’s got it all, congratulations, Jame$!
