I love how things add up, just makes me feel like I can do anything to the characters in my stories and it can all still be realistic.
In this past week:
- My lights have gone off in the house, bad wiring, perhaps a C.H.U.D. in the crawlspace snacking out, who knows…
- Hot water [...]

I’ve finished Part One of my novel. All the initial players are in their spots and it is time to leave them. I think I have left them all in interesting places so that readers will want to get back to them later. Not complete serial-style cliffhangers, no one’s tied to a rail track, but [...]

Sometimes you’ve just gotta go with your gut.
I’m excited and can’t even specifically tell you why. The new Spider-Woman series is heading our way sometime in the near future, somewhere between right now and about March 2009. I am so keen to pick up this series as soon as it starts, it’s insane.
To preface, I’m [...]

I was sceptical, I’ll admit it. I just wasn’t sure what to do.
I had thoroughly enjoyed the first two Marvel Zombies series’. Robert Kirkman is an awesome writer, I got onto him through his Walking Dead series, and he did some great things with a world of Marvel Zombies. Then he became an Image partner [...]

There’s something wrong with my fuses, or something. There is power to the house, but not to any of the lights. Major pain in the ass. Lucky most chores for the day were completed before sundown, but pissing and brushing teeth later should be fun.
To combat this darkness issue, as I still have a full [...]

My short story, The Choice That Had To Be Made, which I self-published and is currently on sale at Maitland’s local bookseller, McDonald’s, for $5 has a front cover and I can finally show it to you. (I have just, and finally, figured out how to add images to this bloody wwInterweb site. You’ll see [...]

Daredevil #112
I am so completely and wholly impressed with Brubaker’s current Daredevil arc. It just seems like sweet justice after fanboys trashed it so hard before they had even read a page. The character of Lady Bullseye seems interesting enough. What she is trying to do, or what we know of it so far, seems [...]

The movie comes out very soon. I really want it to do well. I am going to see it and I want everyone else to as well. It would be so awesome if the movie did well. It would be the global success that the Australian film industry needs.
People always complain about the lack of [...]

The entire reason I started this blog was so that prospective people who would want to work with me, or just read my stuff, would be able to get a solid handle on who I was. This complete character study would of course come through reading my thoughts on comics, movies, music and my life [...]

I am a big fan of MOvember.
For those not in the know, it is a charity event where eligible males grow a moustache for the month of MOvember and raise money, and awareness, for men’s health issues.
Last year I ripped off a cracker of a Reynold’s style slice of goodness. This year, sadly, I am [...]
