Proof Reading | Book Fair Bargains #2
Who do you give the book to first? When do you start the act of reading what you’ve written? How long should it really take?
Proof reading sucks. I never like it but I know I have to do it. But I don’t wanna…especially at 5am, very little motivation for that.
I have a very good red pen ready and I’m going to have to do it, there are awards that close at the end of May and I really want to get this in for it.
Wish me luck while I dredge through 153 Word pages of 12 point one and a half spaced font. Yay….

To keep things a little more upbeat, check this out. Philip K Dick’s The Simulacra, in the old Ace edition. The only other time I ever saw an Ace original from PKD was when I was roaming this huge book store in Glen Innes, The Big Book I believe it was called. Great store, lots of stock, but very messy and you could easily use a day in there. I found a first Ace of Clans of the Alphane Moon. It was fifty cents, score that little puppy was mine. I walked around hunting through the other stacks but stopped when I looked in the book again. Man was I wrong, it was fifty dollars! I respectfully put it back on the shelf. I wonder if The Simulacra is worth much, not that I would ever be selling it. Wicked old school cover, makes the day more manageable.
Enjoy!
