Ain’t Spider-Woman Sweet?
I was cleaning out my comic chest the other day, sorting things out to sell, reread, the fun stuff of being a nerd, and I came across some absolute old gems in the ads that were present. I am pretty sure these were both from some old Moon Knight issues. This first one is a massive splash page ad. I guess they were really trying to get behind Spider-Woman as a series. Kind of strange when you think about it, that she would get a splash ad, and a cartoon series, but good on them for trying. I miss these old ads, where they had nothing to do with plot, just a strange image that would somehow make you want to buy the comic in question.

The whole punch just looks awkward, like they had been dancing and then he’d whispered something in her ear about his own webbing supply and BAM! she cold cocked him one. Cold blooded, Rick James-style. The next one was a tad smaller, and uses way too much text. Don’t they know people just wanna see Spidette punching dudes in the face.

History lessons, you have to love them in the Merry Marvel Manner. I absolutely dare Alex Maleev to draw the Spider-Woman pic again and use it somewhere.
