And One Makes Three
I never thought I’d have a blog, hell, a few years ago I barely knew what one was. Now I have over 300 posts here, over what must be about 3 years, and I love the chance to put things out there and share and have transparency to my writing. It’s interesting and scary and an absolute must have for someone who wants to write.
This is simply more practice.
And now I’m getting more practice, and I’m certainly not complaining.
I recently joined The Weekly Crisis, where they let me get my gonzo on and write about stuff I love, writing and comics. Just today I went live with another comic creator interview, Justin Greenwood of Fate and Resurrection fame, and it was a blast to chat with him, not to mention the creator before him, Steven Sanders, and the many more to come, of which I’ll keep mum right now. It’s good journalistic work and I love doing it, that’s the honest truth.
But two wasn’t enough, I needed a third. On so many levels. And so I have now created my third.
My wife is pregnant. We are having a child. I am extremely happy. There is so much to tell from what I am feeling, doing, wanting, and hoping that I figured there would be plenty of family and friends to share it with, and so we are sharing that information.
I present to you, my dear constant readers, my third blog, for my third family member; Our Walking Heart. There I will be posting about the next 6 months of pregnancy and eventually what the little tacker gets up to. It’s predominantly for my family, of which is spread across much of Australia and even reaches into Europe, and for friends as well. I’m not looking to sell the book rights to what I write about pending fatherhood or the fashionistic application of a Baby Bjorn. This is personal, and it’s interesting to write about something so personal, generally I keep this site here pretty clean of my real life. I discuss books and the like but not always myself, unless it’s me the writer, not me the dude.
So I have a baby blog and you can surely feel free to check it out. If you’ve been checking me out on two blogs then what’s one more? Click the pretty picture to see the wordy websites.
Cheers.

Congratulations Ryan… there goes the writing time!
Dude, congratulations! I saw this some time ago, and I kept meaning to leave a comment but I have been so incredibly busy lately that it passed my mind.
Also, when I click on that banner for the new blog, it takes me to some bible study website? Dunno what’s going on.
Thanks Matt, man, that bible site just wouldn’t give up, and kept crashing me out too. I had a typo in the link, more reason to always cut and paste, never type, so thanks for that.
Hopefully now people can enjoy more of my babbling father-like rambling and 5 second videos of inside my better half.
