Bathroom Stall Quickies #4
Sometimes you just don’t have time to say I love you, but you can still show it.
There’s a great artist online a name of Mike Henderson and recently he put up a Daredevil V Shang-Chi commission and I really dig it. His Matt Murdock has a bit of a Phil Hester feel to it and I completely dig the composition of the sketch. This is mighty fine.

Dustin Weaver has been busy posting some teasers to this week’s S.H.I.E.L.D. release. I was really struck by this variant cover. It’s Nostradamus, Marvel history style. It’s creepy in a Guillermo Del Toro meets drunken Uncle Hobo/Rob Zombie kind of way.

Weaver also posted a page that includes this crazy S.H.I.E.L.D. typewriter. I don’t know what it is but I know I want one.

Finally, I have two pieces from Steven Sanders. He’s done one excellent paint wash piece that he states is some Underwater Archaeology. It’s like a cross between Frank Frazetta and an Atlantean Iron Giant.

The other piece from Sanders is a quick sketch of Matt Fraction’s Casanova. I think this piece is pretty damn fine, but i’m a fan of Sanders and Casanova so the two together was always going to pique my interest.
