Previously, On CBR – The Boys #48 Review

The Boys. It’s a comic I’m definitely going to completely reread once it is finished. I want to see what the map looks like with all the pieces. Right now, the pieces are good. This issue is the start of a new arc, and really feels like the beginning of the end. It’s the third act, and I wonder how many guns Chekov planted in the first – I should probably check.

The Boys #48 review by Ryan K Lindsay

See why I think, “This issue is all about laying more seeds for the eventual forest of story that is going to come crashing together like waves of lava against ancient celestial lands. It’s going to be epic, it’s going to be intense, and it’s going to be exactly what we’ve been waiting for. But wait we must, as this issue pushes us slightly further but mostly it feels like the polishing of barrels before the onslaught of bloodshed.
