In Ten City – A Novel
Macbeth is a teacher with more problems than he cares to admit. He’s estranged from his wife and is hiding in a new town in a new job but with the same old issues. He’s sleeping with a colleagues daughter, who is also his student, don’t worry she’s eighteen. She organises a rendezvous and when he turns up all he finds is a dead body, don’t worry, not hers.
The Wagon’s Hitch is the local caravan park that services the residential needs of many seedy and illegal characters. Characters that now think Macbeth killed the poor schlub who turned up without a pulse. Ares is the man around the Wagon, and he’s tied to Macbeth in more ways than they at first understand.
Macbeth will have to play off different sides of the law, bare knuckled colleagues and a slew of criminal types just to find out where his girl is and what that means for him. All in Ten City.
